The work consists of two circles painted on a wall and two framed pictures. Each picture represents a viewpoint of one of the two circles. It is printed to the dimensions of the wall to create the illusion that the wall continues into the picture. There is therefore for every picture a a privileged point of view for the viewer to reconstruct a perfect circle. These two viewpoints are not located in the same place. Moving the viewer will deconstruct this space to bring up kind of spirals.

Monocle

The work consists of one circle painted in yellow on a wall and 1 photo framed. This photo shows a viewpoint of the painted circle on the wall. It is printed to the dimensions of the wall to create the illusion that the wall continues into the picture. There is therefore for this picture a privileged point of view to the viewer to reconstruct perfectly the yellow circle. Moving the viewer will deconstruct this illusion…

The work consists of one framed photo. The glass in the frame is a pink colored glass. This photo shows a viewpoint of the wall. It is printed to the dimensions of the wall to create the illusion that the wall continues into the picture. So there is a privileged point of view for the viewer to reconstruct perfectly the illusion. The viewer has the impression of seeing the wall through a colored glass.
Moving the viewer will deconstruct this illusion in trompe l’oeil.
