1 Profile spot projects a rectangle on a light reflecting surface of extra color. This surface is very thin and very light. It has been folded and unfolded. It hangs on the wall on the upper part. The work is installed in a corner of a room, the glossy surface color projected on the wall adjacent colored irregularities of its surface. When approaching a spectator, the metal surface begins to ripple through electrostatic phenomenon. Reflection of colored light is moving. This could be likened to the movement of light on the bottom of a pool. The pool is decomposed: the bottom of a side of the other light. Between the two, the water, the fluid.

3 plates of colored glass come to settle on a monochrome mural painting.
The color of the glass and the color of the mural painting mix.
The viewer never sees the true color of the painted wall.
What the viewer sees is neither in the glass nor in the paint.
It only exists in the eye of the viewer.
Glass plans actually projects colored light on the mural painting.
The strength of this projection depends on the ambient light.
This creates very subtle gradients, intangible and totally impossible to do by hand.
Paris, 2014

The work consists of one framed photo. The glass in the frame is a pink colored glass. This photo shows a viewpoint of the wall. It is printed to the dimensions of the wall to create the illusion that the wall continues into the picture. So there is a privileged point of view for the viewer to reconstruct perfectly the illusion. The viewer has the impression of seeing the wall through a colored glass.
Moving the viewer will deconstruct this illusion in trompe l’oeil.

Rouen, 2011
Public order of the city of Rouen

Gyro is composed of two large mirrors sustained by painted concrete walls.
This work specifically meets the landscape and urban qualities of this garden.
The mirrors are disposed face to face at a slight angle.
They reflect the one into the other. The reflections are repeated shifting.
This creates a virtual depth spinning. This depth is more or less important
depending on the ambient brightness. Must be taken into account
colors of dawn and sunset. The garden is bordered by roads,
you can see the night lights of cars passing fugitively
in the depths of mirrors like shooting stars …

Stainless steel mirror polished
formed concrete walls, painting
Solid concrete base
Dimensions of 1 wall: 800 X 300 X 25 cm
